the fourth model in the Crown lineup, following the Crown Crossover, Sedan, and Sport. It is built on Toyota’s TNGA GA-K platform and designed under the company’s new “Crown Cluster Strategy,” which aims to provide diverse options within a unified brand concept.
Two versions of the Crown Estate are offered:
A Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) using a 2.5-liter engine
A Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version, also with a 2.5-liter engine
Both models deliver a fuel efficiency of approximately 20 km per liter (WLTC mode). The PHEV version also supports external charging, offering an alternative for eco-conscious drivers.

The vehicle’s design features include 21-inch tires, a clean front face with body-colored grille, and a spacious cabin layout. Toyota has also focused on user comfort, with a horizontally arranged display and “island architecture” dashboard to reduce eye movement while driving.
The Crown Estate is manufactured at Toyota’s Tsutsumi Plant and the company is targeting monthly sales of 1,500 units. Toyota is also offering the model through its KINTO subscription service, starting from ¥77,440/month for the HEV and ¥103,620/month for the PHEV.
To mark the launch, Toyota is hosting a public event titled “Life with CROWNs” at Azabudai Hills Arena in Tokyo from March 13 to 16, where all four Crown models will be on display and available for test drives.
